Ina & joe’s story

Ina and Joseph are high school sweethearts and have been together for 6 years. They met through mutual friends from their church. They were complete opposites in personality, but realized that opposites do attract! After 6 years of being together Joseph proposed at one of their favorite places they loved to spend time at a pond near their home.

A year following the proposal, Joseph and Ina had their wedding ceremony and reception in Monroe, North Carolina. They had an intimate wedding party of their closest friends. We always love to ask couples if they want a first look! Couples like Ina & Joseph wanted to share an intimate moment before they tied the knot! Words from Ina -

“It all began when Ina and Joseph met and realized they were so different from each other, but apparently, opposites DO attract! They would always hang out and meet at the Arboretum pond in Charlotte and became best friends. In February 2012, Joseph asked Ina to be his girlfriend. They would meet at the pond and talk about life, what they did that day, what they ate, what they wanted to do, etc. They also met there just to do some deep thinking and even after an argument, they would meet there and resolve the issue. That was their meeting spot and so many memories have been built there.

On November 9th, 2016, Joseph decided it was the day. They haven't been to the Arboretum pond in a long time, but he decided to take her there to ask the question. After admiring the sun, the chill weather, the water sparkling, the geese swimming around, he got on one knee and asked. The overjoyed and tearful Ina couldn't believe it was happening, but... IT WAS HAPPENING!

Now, we can't wait to spend our special day with you and can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together.”
